Connectivity wherever you need it...
The i-MO 310 Series 4G Router is ideal for providing a small branch office, home office, temporary locations or mobile service with a highly resilient high performance connection to the internet or corporate LAN.
As standard the appliance is equipped with 6 x GBit Ethernet ports which can individually be configured as WAN or LAN ports.
Optionally the appliance can be upgraded with up to 3 x LTE (4G) or UMTX (3G) cellular modems and up to 6 x network SIMS. If equipped with more SIMs than cellular modems the intelligent i-MO firmware will select the SIM to active based upon network availability or bandwidth allowance.
The Administrative Web Interface easily allows the appliance to be configured for link-failover (e.g. from WAN to cellular) in addition to link aggregation to increase performance.
The i-MO 310 Series 4G Router is powered from a single 12V power supply. This can either be provided by the included external AC adapter (100–240V, 50-60Hz) or alternatively it can be powered from a standard 12V automotive supply. The standard appliance includes a power conditioning filter to protect it from an unclean automotive supply.
Alternatively for more demanding temporary or mobile applications the conditioning filter can be upgraded to an intelligent 10V to 30V DC power supply. This enables the unit to be powered directly from a solar backed battery, a 24V DC truck or boat supply or other variable DC supply.
The appliance can be fitted with up to 128GB of flash storage which can be accessed by the optional NAS software module. There is also an external USB 2.0 port for future expansion.
Bonds multiple connections:
i-MO allows you to combine or bond wired and wireless services as you need them. i-MO can bond up to three 3G / 4G connections (with support for up to six mobile data networks) plus as many as four broadband landline connections for unrivalled speed and uptime. Configure up to 4 Ethernet ports as WAN ports in order to add other bearers e.g. satellite.
Bonds intelligently:
The i-MO bonding algorithm automatically distributes traffic across available connections and manages these to achieve optimal performance, equalisation of data consumption, etc. i-MO units can be populated with up to six mobile data network SIMS with dynamic selection of the three best available 3G / 4G connections. Also offered is the facility for automatic failover between primary (e.g. DSL) and secondary (e.g. wireless) connections.
Bonds as you like it:
i-MO uses an end-to-end tunnelling protocol to aggregate bandwidth. Assembling and managing data across multiple bearers requires a suitable Appliance at either end of the link. With i-MO you have the option of using our proven vendor delivered Managed Service (no equipment required other than at the site where connectivity is required) or, alternatively, deploy our Virtual Concentrator in a maintained environment (e.g. your Data Centre) and deliver your own bonding services.
4G LTE compatibility built in:
Up to three latest-generation cellular modems can be embedded in the new i-MO Appliance. These support cellular mobile data networks which comply with 4G LTE, HSUPA, HSDPA, 3G, EDGE and GPRS standards.
